State of the art information technology and communication network have today shrunk the world enabling expansion of international trade and commerce, exchange of technology and co-operation in various fields, which in turn has generated ample opportunities in the field of management and computer application.
Keeping pace with these developments the National Institute of Management Calcutta (NIMC) has launched a three year MCA Programme in order to provide skilled managers and computer experts to the Public and Private Sectors, the world over.
I have been closely monitoring the progress of NIMC which, I am happy to state, is shaping
up to become, one of the leading Management Institutes of the country. With top class faculty, state, of the art infrastructural facilities and training aids, the Institute has already captured the imagination of the , corporate sector and consultants in India and abroad.
The Institute has great potential to grow in the years to come, and I wish them success in all their endeavours
